Join us in DC for Year 2 of ChocolateCON Fourth of July weekend to celebrate the past, present, and future of Black life across the Diaspora.

2025 ChocolateCON (Afterdark Badge) - Midnight Brunch Silent Disco
Guests will enjoy curated bites from chefs across the African Diaspora—from the U.S. to Africa and beyond—paired with a vibrant silent disco and a curated silent auction featuring Black-owned brands and experiences. As a special bonus, AfterDark attendees will get an exclusive first look at Black Joy On Full Display, a visual art collection debuting the next day. Guests will preview photos of the featured works and have the opportunity to purchase pieces in advance. Ticket also includes silent disco entry and 1 signature drink. Come vibe, bid, and build the future of ChocolateCON with us.

2025 ChocolateCON (Weekend Badge)
The Weekend Badge includes access to the Diasporic Mashup (with curated bites and drinks from the global Black diaspora) happening on Friday, July 4, 2025, and ChocolateCON on Saturday with early entry into the convention, and a dedicated meal ticket, two drink tokens, and swag!

2025 ChocolateCON (Convention Badge)
ChocolateCON is for the people—so the convention itself is donation-based entry. Attendees can Pay What You Can (Suggested: $15), but no turned away due to cost.
Contributing dollars to attend this convention is an act of service and philanthropy. Attendee contributions help us keep the experience accessible for all, and all donations are fully tax-deductible.

2024 ChocolateCON
ChocolateCON is a groundbreaking convention unlike any other that celebrates the emancipation of African American life in the vibrant city of Washington, DC from 1862 to our envisioned future. This year will be our inaugural year and the goal is to offer a kaleidoscope of people, places, and stories that speak volumes about the freedom and liberation of Black people. This is more than just an event; it's a platform for empowerment, a vessel for our shared experience, and a canvas upon which we can be unapologetically black.
